3D Spore Seeker

Welcome to the 3D Spore Seeker! This is a compact OpenGL game that plays like an FPS shooter or survival game.

Controls:

W A S D	Move
Mouse	Turn around / Look
Rigth click or Space	Jump
C	Crouch
Shift	Sneak
+ / -	Manipulate daytime
Backspace	Restart game
Print	Screenshot (saved to SVEngine\Screenshots in your Documents folder)
ESC	Exit game

The low-poly graphics employ generative approaches and are entirely composed of cylinders and spheres. The forest is created randomly, offering variety with every game. Collect all 10 mushrooms and beat your own best time!

I submitted this as prototype because it is very bare. No music, no levels.

This game is written in the lesser-known XProfan and is the winner of the coding jam "XProfan 4K competition 2021". 4K stands for the maximum size of the source code of the submitted projects.

The original source code is exactly 4K (4096 Bytes) and runs just like this version, without dependencies or extra files. For the itch.io release, I decided to submit a newer, larger version with some bug fixes and a day/night cycle. This updated version is about 8K large, and the executable is approximately 200KB due to the included runtime.
